Luftwaffe Trains For Bosnia Mission

Associated Press

Eight Luftwaffe warplanes touched down Friday at this air base in northern Italy, preparing for what could be the German military’s first combat mission since World War II.

Their pilots are to begin training over Italian skies with their NATO allies to prepare for a possible major air assault if Bosnian Serbs attack Gorazde.
