The Hot Seat A Weekly Look At People And Issues In The News
At first we thought he was just unlucky
Remember Ryan Evarts? He’s the guy who flipped off Spokane Police Chief Terry Mangan last year. The chiefster almost kicked Evarts’ tail for it and ended up apologizing all over himself for losing his temper. At the time we thought Evarts was just a poor sap who shot the bird at the wrong guy. But now he’s hooked up with Russell “Big Daddy” Van Camp and is trying to sue Mangan. Wake up, Evarts! Van Camp is making a fool of you. He’ll get some headlines, but you won’t get a dime.
Tell us about your bad days
John Wold was jaywalking in Spokane last week and got run over by a truck. And, he got a ticket for jaywalking. Then, after he got out of the hospital, he found a parking ticket on his rig. We were going to put the cops on The Hot Seat. But then the chief would be in here pounding on the desk, writing angry letters about cops doing their job, blah, blah, blah. Who needs that aggravation? Then we thought about taking up a collection for Wold’s tickets, but no one with any sense would trust this crew with money. So, how about sending us your bad day stories? We’ll publish them right here and everyone can get a good laugh at your misfortune.
Yet another conspiracy uncovered by The Hot Seat
They laughed at Bob Fletcher when he said the New World Order was controlling the weather. Like the old saying, “He who controls the jukebox, controls the bar,” old Bob says: He who controls the weather, controls the world. AND IT IS HAPPENING. A killer heat wave in the Midwest is murdering hundreds (mostly gun owners) and creating political unrest in this great country’s third-largest city. Chicago Alderman John Steele wants Mayor Richard Daley run out on a rail for mismanaging the heat wave. Old Bob’s prophecy is coming true. Today Chicago, tomorrow Noxon.
