Mr. And Mrs. Rees Spokane

Buel Vernon and Mabel Marie Rees, Spokane, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise dinner cruise aboard the Spokane River Boat Queen, at Templins Resort, Post Falls.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Rodney and Susan Eastman, Reardan, Wash.; Robert and Patti Rees, and John and Cydney, Rees, all of Greenacres; and Darryl and Rebecca Walters, West Linn, Ore.

Married June 25, 1945, in Petersburg, Alaska, the couple have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
