Kaiser Promotes Trentwood Executive

The general manager of Kaiser Aluminum Corp.’s rolling mill at Trentwood has been named president of Kaiser’s flat-rolled products business.

In a corporate restructuring, Raymond J. Milchovich was recently elected corporate vice president of Kaiser, and given responsibility for the company’s production of flat-rolled products.

Milchovich joined Kaiser in 1980 following top operation posts for both the Wisconsin Steel Corp. and Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He has held a variety of senior management positions at Trentwood, the company’s largest fabricating facility. His most recent position was vice president and general manager of the flat-rolled products division.

The company’s flat-rolled products business has annual sales in excess of $700 million, selling to the aerospace, packaging and automotive markets worldwide. The division employs 1,425 people.

Milchovich serves on Kaiser’s corporate strategy board and chairs the firm’s labor relations council.
