Intuit Narrows Loss During Third Quarter
Intuit Inc., maker of the popular Quicken personal finance software, on Thursday reported sharply higher revenues in the third quarter and a narrower net loss.
Revenue for the third quarter of fiscal 1995 was $98.9 million, compared with $54.4 million in the same period last year, which did not include sales from Parsons Technology Inc., acquired in September 1994.
The company reported a net loss of $3.8 million, or 18 cents a share, for the three months ending April 30, 1995, compared with a loss of $6.3 million, or 33 cents a share, in the third quarter of fiscal year 1994.
