‘Bama Warns Stallings
The University of Alabama revealed from Tuscaloosa that football coach Gene Stallings and athletic director Hootie Ingram have been rebuked in response to an alleged major NCAA rules violation.
Stallings was admonished by president Roger Sayers in a January letter for not having a better grasp of NCAA rules in the case of former All-America defensive back Antonio Langham.
Boise State running back K.C. Adams, a first-team Big Sky Conference tailback last season, has been declared academically ineligible for 1995.
Adams, a junior last season, gained 1,275 yards rushing and caught 41 passes for 490 yards.
