Firefighters Douse Vinegar Flats Blaze

From Staff And Wire Reports

Firefighters doused an attic fire Thursday afternoon in Spokane’s Vinegar Flats.

About 20 firefighters responded to the 3:03 p.m. blaze at 2127 W. 13th, said Jim Walsh, a Spokane Fire Department battalion chief.

The owner of the home, Linda Dunaw, wasn’t injured, Walsh said.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and stripped a portion of the roof, Walsh said.
