Couple Found In Woods Ruled Murder-Suicide

A young couple whose bodies were found lying side-by-side in a wooded area died in a murder-suicide, authorities said.

LuAnn Tarantino was shot in the chest, arm and back. John Dillon was shot once in the chest.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office ruled Friday that Dillon, 21, shot Tarantino, 20, and then turned a .22-caliber rifle on himself.

Police Chief Frank Monack said a suicide note was found along with the bodies on Wednesday but its contents were too personal to make public.
