Sheehan Coasts To Win
Patty Sheehan won the LPGA Rochester International in Rochester, N.Y., for the fourth time in seven years, shooting a 2-under-par 70 while most of her rivals struggled to match par.
The 38-year-old Hall of Famer finished with a 10-under 278 for a four-stroke victory at Locust Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y. Tracy Hanson of Rathdrum, Idaho, carded a 290 to tie for 21st and earned $5,848.
Tom Wargo shot a 1-under-par 69 and captured the windswept Dallas Reunion Pro-Am by seven strokes.
Leading all the way, Wargo had 64s in the first two rounds and slashed 13 strokes from par in three trips around the little Oak Cliff Country Club course.
