Wideman’s Bat Levels Hillyard

Garret Wideman came up big for Chapter 11/Longhorn Barbecue with three hits and two RBIs in a 10-4 American Legion baseball victory over Hillyard at Rogers on Monday.

Starter Eric Hayden pitched four innings, allowing two hits and striking out four, to earn the victory.

Brett Corigliano added two hits, including a double, for the winners.

At Shadle Park’s Al K. Jackson Field, Andy Sage had two doubles and scored a run as Global Federal Credit Union beat Olympic Sports 6-4. Joe Jeffries had two hits and Ty Skidmore hit a double and had an RBI for Olympic Sports.
