Town Evacuated After Train Derails

Two derailed train cars leaking an explosive propane byproduct forced the evacuation Saturday of 200 residents of this town in southeastern Quebec.
The train derailed on CP Rail tracks on the outskirts of Lennoxville, 87 miles southeast of Montreal.
Mayor David Price said it wasn’t known what caused the derailment. There were no injuries.
