Cigar Will Face Seven

Cigar, whose eight straight wins have made him the leading candidate for Horse of the Year honors, heads a field of eight entrants for Sunday’s $1 million Hollywood Gold Cup at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, Calif.

Cigar will carry high weight of 126 pounds for the 1 1/4-mile classic. Cigar and Concern, who was assigned 123 pounds, are ranked 1-2 in the latest Thoroughbred Racing Communications poll.
