North Monroe Restaurant Robbed

From Staff Reports

A woman robbed a fast-food restaurant Wednesday evening in Spokane.

The long-haired robber approached an employee at Taco John’s, N1724 Monroe, said she had a weapon in her pocket and demanded money about 7 p.m., said Spokane police Sgt. Dave McGovern.

Witnesses saw no weapon. The woman fled on foot with cash, McGovern said, declining to say how much.

The robber was described only as white, in her 20s with long, brown hair.
