The second of 12 Lilac Festival princesses was chosen Wednesday night.

Kim Krebs, an 18-year-old Rogers High School student, was picked to represent her school. She is the daughter of Lonnie and Jill Krebs.

Krebs is a varsity cheerleader, captain of the gymnastics team, a member of the soccer and track teams and an employee of Coffee Capers.

She plans to attend Spokane Community College and eventually wants to become a surgical technician.

One of the Lilac Festival princesses representing 12 Spokane-area schools will be chosen as queen April 22 at 7 p.m. at Ferris High School.

The queen will ride in the Lilac Festival Torchlight Parade on May 20, along with the princesses.
