Students To Entertain Shoppers

Every day next week, downtown shoppers and workers will be entertained and educated by students from the Spokane School District in an event called Education Celebration.

The event is designed to let the public know that public education works, coordinators said.

Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., science demonstrations, choirs, bands, square dancers and jugglers will be in the Sherwood Mall, the skywalk level of the Mutual Building and the Crescent Food Court.

On March 18, events are scheduled in the same locations from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
