Nine people so far have applied for the principal position at Post Falls High School, and 29 picked up applications.

The application deadline is Thursday. School officials will take public comment at a 6 p.m. meeting Thursday in the high school cafeteria.

An advisory staff committee that is screening the applicants will listen to suggestions on what to look for in the job applicants. Written comments are being accepted at the school district office, 201 W. Mullan.

The school board is expected to select the new principal at its May 8 meeting.
