CV Chooses Lilac Princess

Marcy Latta of Central Valley High School was chosen as the eighth of 12 Lilac Festival princesses Thursday night.

Latta, 17, who also was the school’s homecoming queen, is activity coordinator for student government and the president of the activity league.

She’s a member of Students Against Drunk Driving, a volleyball player and serves on the Nordstrom fashion board.

Latta is the daughter of Kit and Laurie Latta. She plans to attend either Washington State University or Eastern Washington University.

One of the princesses will be chosen Lilac Festival queen at 7 p.m. April 22 at Ferris High School.
