Here is a look at action Thursday in the Washington Legislature:

GOVERNOR:

Expressed opposition to a proposed $3.3 billion transportation budget that includes a 4-cent-a-gallon gasoline tax increase.

SENATE:

No major action.

HOUSE:

House Transportation Committee Chairwoman Karen Schmidt, R-Bainbridge Island, presented her proposed $3.3 billion transportation budget.
