Four Explosions In Burundi’s Capital
Four grenades exploded Friday in Burundi’s capital while the central African nation buried an assassinated Cabinet minister.
There were no immediate reports of casualties, said a Western diplomat, who spoke by telephone from the capital, Bujumbura.
Hundreds of troops patrolled the deserted streets and others guarded the Roman Catholic Queen of the World Cathedral, where a Mass was said for former Mines and Energy Minister Ernest Kubushemeye.
