Park Season Longer Camping

Starting this year, Washington State Parks will take camping reservations at selected parks for a longer season.

Last year, reservations were allowed from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This year, the reservations will be accepted from March 31-Sept 30.

Washington still does not have a central reservations system. Campers must request reservation forms and mail them to the individual parks.

Volunteer positions are open for hosts at Washington State Parks campgrounds, marine parks and interpretive centers. In return, the volunteers get free camping and RV hookups or moorage. Info: Joan Hauser-Crowe, volunteers coordinator, (360) 902-8583.
