Spring Street Cleaning Begins Next Week
The city of Spokane’s annual spring street-cleaning program starts next week.
Road crews plan to sweep streets from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Residents are asked to remove vehicles from the street on the day it is scheduled to be cleaned.
Yard waste will not be picked up.
Crews are scheduled in:
the area bounded by Monroe Street, Pettit Drive/Maxwell Avenue, Bridge Avenue and the Spokane River (Monday through Thursday);
the area bounded by Mission and Broadway avenues, Division and Monroe streets (Thursday);
the area bounded by Greene and North Crescent streets, Mission avenues and the river (Monday and Tuesday);
the area bounded by Mission and Trent Avenues, Greene and Helena streets (Thursday);
the area bounded by 29th Avenue, High Drive and Bernard Street (Monday and Tuesday);
the area bounded by 29th, Bernard and Grand Boulevard (Tuesday through Thursday);
the area bounded by Grand Boulevard, Perry Street, 29th and Highway 195 (Thursday).
