Sting Nets Pound Of Methamphetamine

A pound of methamphetamine worth $40,000 was seized Friday night in Pasco when two men were arrested on charge of delivering the drug to undercover police officers.

Jose Torres Mendoza, 25, of Basin City, Wash., and Rojelio Comacho, 25, of Pasco, were arrested in a supermarket parking lot about 6 p.m.

After Tri-City Metro Drug Task Force agents took possession of the drug, Pasco police officers stopped the suspects and arrested them.

An undisclosed amount of money also was seized.
