Requirement Lifted For Day-Care Gloves
Workers at Boise-area day-care centers soon can shed the disposable latex gloves they wear when they touch children’s food.
The Central District Health Department’s board on Friday decided against extending a “no bare hands” order aimed at preventing the spread of hepatitis A.
The order expires April 10. It has been in place since November, when Boise was in the midst of an outbreak of the liver infection. Now the outbreak is waning.
