Radio Shack Plans To Add 500 Stores

After spending nearly two years reviving its 6,500 electronics stores, Radio Shack said Wednesday it plans to add 100 more in each of the next five years, its first expansion in a decade.

Radio Shack said the expansion will proceed as long as results stay strong and the company can find good markets.

The 74-year-old chain is the largest business unit of Fort Worthbased Tandy Corp.
