Maradona Found In Hotel

Diego Maradona, his whereabouts unknown for three days, was found in a downtown hotel where the soccer star had locked himself in his room and refused to come out.

Earlier in the day, President Carlos Menem expressed concern for the hero of Argentina’s 1986 World Cup champion team amid reports Maradona was suffering from depression.

“I’ll take it upon myself to find out what has happened to Maradona,” Menem said. “The time has come to help him pull through whatever difficult situation he might be in.”
