Maxey ‘Roasted’ At Ridpath Tonight

Longtime Spokane attorney and civil rights activist Carl Maxey will be honored and “roasted” at a dinner sponsored by the AfricanAmerican Forum tonight.

Proceeds from the dinner, starting at 6 p.m. at the Ridpath Hotel, will be used to create an endowment for college scholarships for African-American students. Tickets are $50 per person.
