Court Lets Stand Ruling On Portrait Of Jesus

The three-year legal battle over a portrait of Jesus that had hung in a hallway of Bloomingdale (Mich.) High School for more than 30 years has ended.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday let stand lower court rulings that displaying the portrait violates constitutional guarantees of church-state separation.
