Compiled From Wire Services

Eric Lindros, whose cheek was cut by a puck in Sunday’s game against the New York Rangers, will miss the Philadelphia Flyers’ final regular-season game today against the New York Islanders.

The injury may cost Lindros the NHL scoring title. He has 29 goals and 41 assists for 70 points. Pittsburgh’s Jaromir Jagr has 30 goals and 37 assists for 67 points, but has two games remaining.

Edmonton defenseman Bryan Marchment was suspended for three games and fined $500 for hitting a St. Louis player from the bench.
