University Scope Station Planning Opening Ceremony

A community policing organization will hold a grand opening for its new sheriff’s substation on Saturday.

The University SCOPE group is inviting the public to an opening ceremony at 11 a.m. at the substation at University and 15th.

The program includes presentations by Elks Lodge members, District Court Judge Mike Padden, Prosecutor Jim Sweetser and Sheriff John Goldman.
