Authors To Lead Women’s Workshop

Workshop leaders and authors Ione Jenson and Julie Keene will be leading a two-day workshop for women titled “Woman Alone: Creating a Joyous and Fulfilling Life” today and Saturday.

The workshop will be held at the New World Unity Church, 415 W. Hastings.

During their workshops, Jenson and Keene focus on issues such as loneliness, building support systems, exploring community health and financial issues as well as aging and spiritual concerns.

Women of all ages and all circumstances are invited to attend.

The cost is a $30 minimum, though further donations are requested. Today, the workshop runs from 7:30-9 p.m. On Saturday, it lasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
