Education Board Calls For Advice
The Idaho State Board of Education is convening an electronic town hall meeting across the state, and you’re invited.
The board is taking suggestions on how to revise school rules in a teleconference on May 17. The current Board of Education Rules for Public Schools will expire in April 1996.
Board members want to know which school rules should be kept, which should go, and what new rules are needed.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m. (Pacific Time) at sites in Coeur d’Alene, Moscow, Boise, Twin Falls, Pocatello and Idaho Falls.
The board has used the telecommunications hook-up for business meetings between the three state universities. This is the first time it’s being used for a public meeting.
North Idaho College and University of Idaho are equipped with studios for the teleconference.
