Warning Issued After Funnel Cloud Spotted

The National Weather Service in Boise has Issued a tornado warning effective until 9:15 p.m. for eastern Ada County and western Elmore County.

A funnel cloud was sighted above Interstate 84 at the Blacks Creek Exit about eight miles southeast of Boise.

The associated thunderstorm was moving southeast about 20 MPH generally along the interstate.

Those in cars in the path of the tornado are told to leave cars and seek shelter in a strong building.
