Four Spokane Residents Sought After Body Found

From Staff And Wire Reports

Four Spokane residents were being sought Monday after a body was found at a Pend Oreille County lake.

Authorities issued warrants for the arrest of Chance Goodwin, 20; James Lawrence, 28; Carla W. Lenocker, 22; and Debra Monroe, 33, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Department said.

All four are wanted on the charge of failure to report violent crime, said Lt. David Wiyrick, a sheriff’s spokesman.

In addition, Goodwin and Lenocker were sought for rendering criminal assistance.

The four are being sought in the investigation of a Spokane man’s abduction and fatal stabbing.

The body of Richard Paul Morley, 30, was found May 5 in a shallow grave near Eloika Lake, north of Spokane in Pend Oreille County.

Sheriff’s authorities did not say how the four may be connected to the slaying.

Two Spokane residents already have been arrested in the case.

Alan G. Rochek, 28, and Jaqueline C. Bence, 21, have been arrested on kidnapping and assault charges.
