Junior Lilac Winners
The Liberty Lancer Junior High School Marching Band won the grand sweepstakes in the 1995 Junior Lilac Parade. Nearly 7,000 children participated in last Saturday’s parade in Spokane.

Adherence to theme - Chase Middle School Marching Unit.
Scout unit - Campfire Boys and Girls. Second place - Inland Northwest Council Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Group - Opportunity Elementary Pandas. Second place - Children’s Christian Parent Coop.
Elementary marching unit - Browne Elementary. Second place - Roosevelt Performing Troupe.
Secondary marching unit - Sacajawea Middle School Drill Team. Second place - Salk Middle School Spirit Team/Drill Team.
Float - Spokane Lilac Festival. Second place - Martin Luther King Jr. Family Outreach Center and the Spokane Children’s Theatre (tie).
Division 1 band - Nine Mile Falls Elementary. Second place - Cambridge Intermediate.
Division 2 band - Jenkins Middle School. Second place - Mountain View Middle School.
Division 3 band - Riverside Middle School. Second place - Salk Middle School.
Division 4 band - Chase Middle School. Second place - Sacajawea Middle School.
Division 5 band - Bowdish Junior High. Second place - Mead/Northwood Junior High.
