1995 Sale Results The market stock sale for lambs and swine was held at Stockland Livestock Exchange on May 10 and 11.

Comparatively low floor prices, for steers and swine, reflecting the current market, were disappointing to these youngsters who have spent much of the past year and a lot of money on their projects. Lambs were up .21 over 1994 prices.IBP of Pasco, floored the blue ribbon steers at .61, red ribbon steers at .57.

Farmer John’s of Los Angeles floored the hogs at .34.

Stockland Livestock Exchange floored the lambs at .70 per lb.

Stephanie Smith, Waitsburg, Wash., sold the Grand Champion, 1350 lbs. 4-H steer to Cavanaugh’s River Inn for 1.50 per lb.

Wendy Martin, Pomeroy, Wash., sold the Grand Champion, 1270 lbs. FFA steer to Appleway Motors, Bank of the West and Pomeroy Grain Growers for 1.50 per lb.

Justin Gimlin, Quincy, Wash., sold the Reserve Champion, 1355 lb. 4-H steer to Chapter 11 and Hathaway Meats for 1.24 per lb.
