Concert Canceled Because Of Parade

The Ed Gerhard concert scheduled for tonight at the Guitar Gallerie, 421 W. Riverside, has been canceled because of the Lilac Parade.

The owner of the Guitar Gallerie, Rick Rubin, said when he booked the guitar player for the concert, he did not know it would be the same night as the parade, which marches along Riverside past the shop.

“I realized the people coming to the concert would not be able to find a place to park,” Rubin said.

Ticketholders can get refunds at the Guitar Gallerie.
