Beekeeper Dies After Being Stung

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Graham man who raised bees as a hobby died after being stung by bees in his back yard.

An autopsy Monday determined Robert St. Clair, 54, died of anaphylactic shock, caused by a sting, and a heart attack, the Pierce County medical examiner’s office said.

St. Clair collapsed Sunday after being stung an unknown number of times. Officials believe he was moving a beehive in his back yard when he was stung.
