Species Hearing Set
Wildlife conservation
A U.S. Senate subcommittee will hold a public hearing on reforming the Endangered Species Act June 3, beginning at 2 p.m., at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.
In similar hearings in the West, the Senate’s Fisheries, Drinking Water and Wildlife subcommittee has been accused of orchestrating the hearings to present a negative profile of the 20-year-old law.
