Boulder Wolf Pup Apparently Shot To Death

One of the three pups of the Boulder wolf pack has been found dead, apparently shot, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reported Friday.

The wolf’s radio collar, sending a “mortality signal” because of lack of motion, led searchers to the carcass Thursday in Lockhart Meadows.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever shot the animal, the agency said in a news release from Lakewood, Colo.
