Air Pollution Reports

A total of 42 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Oct. 30 and Nov. 5.

The most common complaint, smoke from a solid fuel burning device such as a fireplace or woodstove, was reported 14 times.

Smoke from stack was reported at Five Mile Burger King at 2:55 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 3rd and K in Cheney at 5:01 p.m.

Automobile emissions was reported at 707 W. 17th at 8:30 a.m.

Open fire was reported at 11905 E. Empire at 8:52 p.m.

Odor of petroleum was reported at Inland Asphalt, Sullivan Road, at 10:35 a.m.

Oct. 31

Open fire was reported at 1319 W. Cleveland at 2:05 p.m.

Smoke from vent was reported at 1317 S. Coeur d’Alene at 2:30 p.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 11300 block of East 33rd at 8:30 a.m.
