Service For 4 Boys Will Be Saturday

A joint service for the four young brothers who were killed in a North Spokane house fire last month will be held Saturday at Whitworth Presbyterian Church.

Rob and Jill Schliebe’s four boys - Derek, 8, Loren, 7, Steven, 4, and Justin, 2 - died of smoke inhalation and burns Oct. 28 in the two-story home at 1327 N. Adams.

The service will begin at 2 p.m. at the church.

Rob Schliebe remains in satisfactory condition at Deaconess Medical Center, a nursing supervisor said. Jill Schliebe has been discharged from the hospital.

They suffered injuries during a futile attempt to save their children before they jumped out a secondstory window.
