Astros To Stay In Houston For Now

Houston Astros owner Drayton McLane Jr. will keep the team in Houston, but issued an ultimatum to the nation’s fourth-largest city: fill up the Astrodome or say goodbye to the franchise in a year.

McLane’s announcement ended 2-1/2 weeks of speculation that he was about to sell the team to a Virginia businessman.
