For the 28th time, USC is going to the Rose Bowl.
Delon Washington rushed for a career-high 158 yards and two touchdowns on his 20th birthday as the Trojans (8-1-1, 6-0-1 Pac-10) beat Oregon State 28-10 at Corvallis, Ore., on Saturday night to clinch their first New Year’s appearance in Pasadena in six seasons.
USC’s Keyshawn Johnson caught eight passes for 75 yards to tie the Pac-10 record for receptions in a season with 78.
Southern California defeated the Beavers (1-9, 0-7) for the 22nd consecutive time.

Chris Hopkins ran for a career-high 187 yards and two touchdowns and the Sun Devils rolled up a season-high 345 rushing yards in a win over the Bears at Berkeley, Calif.
The win was the fourth straight for the Sun Devils (6-4, 4-3 Pac-10), who have recovered from a 2-4 start to thrust themselves back into consideration for a possible bowl berth. Cal dropped to 3-7, 2-5.

The Ducks (8-2, 5-2), last year’s Rose Bowl representative from the Pac-10, fought their way into contention for another major bowl bid with their seventh straight road win (five this season) in a stadium where they hadn’t won since 1983. Arizona fell to 5-5, 3-4.
