The Montana State women’s cross country team received one of six at-large berths to the NCAA Division I championships Nov. 20 at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa.

“It’s a tremendous honor,” said MSU coach Dale Kennedy. “Now we have to go beyond our excitement and prove that we are worthy of running in the championships. I think, with a great race, that we could finish as high as 16th overall.”

Twenty-two teams will make up the field. Washington, Arizona, Boston College, Florida and Bowling Green also earned at-large entries.
