All-Natural Grocery Planned Downtown

From Staff And Wire Reports

An all-natural supermarket - complete with juice bar, cooking classes and organic meats - plans to open in downtown Spokane next spring.

Bountiful Fresh Foods will lease a 5,400-square-foot building on the northeast corner of Division and Main, said co-owner Linda Fossi. She said the store should open in May.

The store will have a deli of organic beef, pork, chicken and duck, a bakery with a chef, prepared foods to go and an espresso bar, Fossi said. The store will employ nine full-time people.

Fossi and her partner, Rebecca Rebmann, have owned A Trip to Bountiful, a Coeur d’Alene natural foods store, for three years and carry about 8,000 products. The pair’s future plans include a larger Coeur d’Alene store and two more stores in Spokane. , DataTimes
