Youngsters Invited To Reading Commercial

Spokane-area children ages 3 to 10 are invited to audition Saturday for a series of TV commercials promoting reading.

The “Why I Like to Read” auditions will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Wonderland Golf and Game, 10515 N. Division.

Children will be asked on camera why they enjoy books. They are asked to bring a new or slightly used book to donate to the Children’s Book Bank, a project of United Way’s Success by 6.

The commercials will air on Cox Cable beginning in December. , DataTimes
