Brothers, 11 And 12, Charged With Rape

Two brothers, 11 and 12 years old, are charged with rape in an assault on a 12-year-old neighbor girl, but 8- and 9-year-old boys involved will not face charges.

The girl said she was pestered by the boys when she stopped at the High Point Community Center on the afternoon of Aug. 17. As she headed home, they accosted her and dragged her into their apartment, covered her mouth to stop her screams and removed her clothing, according to charging papers from the King County prosecutor’s office.

The two older boys then assaulted her repeatedly before allowing her to leave, court papers allege.
