Threat To Embassy Ends In Arrest
Police have arrested an Egyptian man who threatened to blow up the U.S. Embassy unless he was paid $25,000.
Sami Ismail Jundi, 28, was arrested Sunday outside the main gates of the U.S. Embassy compound in the northern suburb of Aukar, police said Monday.
Police said Jundi was carrying a handwritten message signed by the “Justice State Group” demanding money or “nobody will be safe from the blowing up of the embassy.”
