First Loves

The cool cars just keep coming. Here are a few more pictures from Our Generation’s “Wheels” contest.

Mike DeCaro’s ‘73 Camaro, above, took years of restoration to get into the shape it’s in today. The Rogers student has spent about $3,000 total in bringing the car back to original condition.

Elden Hallock, above right, put an engine and a transmission in his 1965 Mustang last fall. It’s his daily driver but the Post Falls student has also spent some time racing at Spokane Raceway Park.

Some people have all the luck. Lindsey Morse, lower right, of Davenport got her 1995 Ford Escort for her birthday this year. She says it’s perfect for her: “small, cute and economical.”
