Commission Makes Rules Change

Compiled From Wire Services

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission announced that a low steelhead run has necessitated catch-and-release fishing for steelhead on the Clearwater River upstream from the Memorial Bridge at Lewiston, including the North, Middle and South forks.

On the Snake River from the confluence with the Clearwater, upstream to the Washington-Oregon state line, and the Clearwater from the Memorial Bridge downstream to its confluence with the Snake, all steelhead longer than 30 inches must be released unharmed.
